Reading and enjoying this comic has been a real pleasure. (This might belong in the paragraph about your art style, but I also really like the character designs that you came up with!) Goku fight! The OCs you've introduced are all fun, interesting, and recognizable. The plot feels really creative and fun, with a lot of really cool moments throughout. A Dragonball side-story fan comic set during the seven years between the defeat of Cell and the coming of Majin Buu. The way that you explore Yamcha's story here really feels like a natural outgrowth of canon, and it's really cool to see a character that doesn't really get a lot of time or attention in the main story get this kind of treatment. This fan comic started in 2001 and took a hiatus for a few years between. It *feels* like a Dragon Ball story, but I love the level of respect and thought you've put towards the characters. Yamcha, long-time ally of Goku, finds himself lost at a crossroads in his life. In addition to how visually beautiful this piece is, the storytelling/writing is also incredible! It's fast-moving, exciting, and fun throughout. He went and found the biological gravitational limit for humans with his body. The panel layout seemed to get more complex and interesting as the comic progressed, too (or, at least, I noticed it more as time went on), but I was really impressed at how well you kept the flow of each page going while varying the layouts. The style and level of technical proficiency that you have is really astonishing, and you're clearly not afraid of taking on challenging material - I noticed throughout that the poses you use are often really difficult ones, and the action sequences are really masterfully done. Now that I've caught up with it, I have nothing but praise this is definitely one of the most impressive and fully-realized fanworks that I've ever encountered!Īt the beginning, the art was really impressive, and by the end, it's really phenomenal.
